The wrapped V-belts also include classic V-belts and narrow V-belts in equal measure. Both belt types are positive engagement, trapezoid drive belts made of neoprene with textile wrapping and polyester cord, the force of which is transferred in the edges. Narrow V-belts are, as their name suggests, somewhat narrower, but transfer more power via the edge, since they are higher than classic V-belts. They are mainly used in mechanical engineering.
